Our Mission

Open Hearts Foundation Mission:

The Open Hearts Foundation is a respected nonprofit charity established to bring the Open Heart Philosophy, which stands for selfless giving even in the face of adversity, into communities worldwide. The Foundation provides funds to charitable organizations in the areas of Health, Arts, Education, Sports, and honors individuals that exemplify the Open Heart Philosophy in their service to others.

Open Heart Philosophy:

Living with an Open Heart allows you to overcome adversity and create something positive in your life and the lives of others.

The Open Heart symbol was inspired by Jane Seymour’s artwork. Every time she painted a heart it was open, and when there were two or more, they were connected. Jane came to realize that this reflected her mother’s advice that love should have no boundaries and should flow unconditionally. Life is full of challenges, but when your heart is open it can never stay broken and love will always find its way in. This message hopes to inspire people to fill their hearts with love by helping others. The Open Heart design is becoming a universal symbol of giving and receiving love demonstrated through this service to others, and is a testament to inspire all to make a lasting difference in their own lives and the lives of others and to perpetuate the philosophy from generation to generation.
