Do you manage your DAF through Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or BNY Mellon?
You can easily recommend a grant to the Open Hearts Foundation using the button below via DAF Direct.
Using a different provider—such as Vanguard Charitable, National Philanthropic Trust, your local community foundation, or the new GoFundMe Giving Fund?
If you manage a traditional DAF, simply contact your fund manager and request that a grant be distributed to the Open Hearts Foundation. If you're giving through the GoFundMe Giving Fund, you can make a direct, tax-deductible contribution to support our mission.
A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a giving account established at a public charity. It allows donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction and then recommend grants from the fund over time. Donors can contribute to the fund as frequently as they like and then recommend grants to their favorite charitable organizations whenever it makes sense for them.
